Alana De Garza's beautiful face has left an impression even on tiny screens. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December the 26th of December, 1976. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. In Texas, she began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to world-wide commercials. In spite of the minor roles, she discovered that acting was her love. She moved to New York and in 2001 she scored her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her debut series role in The Mountain The Mountain, which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Following a brief run, her character migrated over to Law & Order: LA. This character was a hit and brought De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring role. She played Marisol Deko and was also the spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The younger sister Cory is 10 years younger than her. Her family was strict and religious parents. Milano's career began at age seven as her babysitter took her to an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano has appeared in ads in both Broadway and on TV, including the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
